1Description

Full-stack developer and Ing. in IT with an HTL electronics background. I build web platforms with PHP, TypeScript, Node.js, Svelte and Vue, design PCBs in Altium, and design parts in CAD/CAM that I make on my own CNC mill and 3D printers. Next I’m moving into PLC programming and industrial automation, including multi-axis robot arms.

  1. HTL Anichstraße

    2016 – 2020 · Innsbruck

    Final project: a software-controlled IoT input/output board that switches electrical outputs wirelessly, for home automation.

  2. IT-Kolleg Imst

    Software development

    2020 – 2022 · Diploma

    Diploma project: a facility management system for plants, with a Node.js REST API, a React frontend and MariaDB. Graded Sehr gut, the top grade.

    Courses: Oracle Academy Database Design (2021), SAP Foundation Level and Financial Accounting (2022).

    07/2023 – 03/2024

    • TYPO3, Vue.js, CSS and MySQL in Scrum projects, planned in Jira and Confluence.
    • GPS tracking platform (PHP, Traccar, Android app): found an N+1 query and moved it to 10,000-row batches, so large reports stopped freezing the app for everyone else.
    • Supermarket web shop with Vue, SCSS, TYPO3 and Node.js: a team of four, two-week sprints, end-to-end tests in GitLab CI.

  5. Freelance

    Full-stack web development

    03/2024 – 03/2025

    • Web apps with PHP/Laravel, Node.js, TypeScript, Svelte and Go, on PostgreSQL and SQLite.
    • Moved a film shop from Wix to Laravel, with SQLite, Stripe payments and email through Cloudflare.
    • Locked its server down: only port 443 open behind Cloudflare, SSH over Tailscale, and a daily cron job that rewrites the ufw rules for Cloudflare’s and GitHub’s IP ranges.
    • Also a Svelte frontend for Cedar Creek Ltd., London (01–10/2025), and continued work for clubdrei until 01/2025.

    • Web solutions with PHP, TYPO3, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Svelte and Directus, on MySQL and PostgreSQL.
    • Many client sites for tourism, hotels and shops, including legacy systems and SQL data fixes.
    • AI-assisted development and agent workflows in day-to-day engineering.

    Footprint ready

    DNP means “do not populate”: the footprint is on the board, the part is not fitted yet. I’m moving into robot programming, PLCs and commissioning, and practicing with a PLC simulator I’m building, robot-arm kinematics and my own hardware.

Built outside client work, from a PLC simulator to the enclosure around my resin printer.

PLC Factory

A Factory I/O-style browser game around a virtual Siemens S7-1200 G2. SCL and LAD compile through a typed IR to JavaScript and run in a real scan cycle with OB1, OB100, OB30 and IEC timers and counters. Plant physics run in Rust/WASM with Rapier; 260+ tests.

A V8 engine on a dyno in Three.js. The engine sound is simulated in Rust compiled to WebAssembly at 96,000 steps a second, with a gearbox and a car.

Workshop

My own CNC and 3D printing workshop: I design parts in CAD/CAM, then mill and print them. Latest build: an airtight resin-printer enclosure of grooved XPS foam, with an acrylic door held by magnets and sealed with a D-profile.
